    Early music played on period instruments

Event description

Musicians from Hanse countries will launch the Hanse Festival at King’s Lynn with a concert at All Saints Church on Friday May 18 at 7pm.

The Hanse Band – a flute, oboe, cello and harpsichord quartet – will perform early music on period instruments to launch the Hanse Festival in advance of a busy day of events and attractions in the town centre on Sunday May 20.

Programme includes: Telemann – “Tafelmusik” Trio Sonata, TWV 42, Buxtehude – Toccata for harpsichord

King’s Lynn Festival has organised the concert and tickets (£15 and under 18s £7.50) are available from the Corn Exchange on 01553-764864 or on the King’s Lynn Festival website (kingslynnfestival.org.uk)
