Our Lithuanian singers and dancers
Laisvė is an amateur vocal ensemble based in King’s Lynn with six years of experience dedicated to singing Lithuanian music in harmony. The group began by singing during the Lithuanian Mass in King’s Lynn and has since expanded to perform at local community and charity events. Singing together offers members a meaningful way to stay connected to their heritage while living abroad. In 2024, Laisvė proudly took part in the Lithuanian Song Celebration (a UNESCO – listed event held every four years), where thousands of singers join together in a united choir. The ensemble focuses on songs by Lithuanian composers that reflect the beauty and spirit of Lithuania, sharing their love of music with audiences and building friendships within the community.
Karaliūnai is a vibrant and passionate Lithuanian dance group based in King’s Lynn, proudly celebrating three wonderful years of performing together. Our members come from different age groups, united by a love for our heritage and the joy of dance. Through our performances, we share the beauty of Lithuanian traditional dances and cultural spirit with audiences across the UK.
The Hanse Festival Organising Committee would like to place on public record their thanks to the sponsors that have contributed to ensure the Hanse Festival is a success.
